Walking with Saint Joseph

He never speaks in the Scriptures. He seems to live in the shadows. But even so, St. Joseph is immensely important—to the Holy Family, to the life of the Church, and to our lives as Christians today. 

So important is St. Joseph that Pope Francis has asked us all to spend this year thinking about him and letting his life inspire our lives. In this time of pandemic and great loss, who better to imitate than this quiet man who knew what it was like to have his life turned upside down and yet faced troubling times with courage and self-sacrificing love—just as we are called to do today.
